But it’s officially out now. If you’re signing up for the first time, you’ll be asked to specify your birth date and choose a user name for your account. You can also link your existing account to your Google or Apple ID if the email addresses are the same. As per Twitter’s support page, you can disconnect your Google or Apple account from the web only. However, Apple sign-in is not available on the web yet. So you’ll be stuck if you want to unlink your Apple account from your Twitter account. Earlier this year, Twitter said that user growth will slow down in 2021 as compared to the last year. So making third-party sign-up options available could be a tiny step towards boosting those numbers.
